Unable to connect PIXMA TS5320a printer after Mac OS Ventura 13.1 upgrade

Hello,

Since upgrading my Macbook Air OS to Ventura 13.1, I am unable to add my PIXMA TS5320a printer to the laptop.

I have downloaded Canon's available software/drivers for the PIXMA TS5320 series and consulted the printer manual, but the problem persists.

I would rather not shop (again) for a new printer.

Any suggestions most welcome. Thank you.

I was unsuccessful in setting up the printer with either the USB cable or the wireless connection.

Update:

I still cannot connect using the USB cable. I was able to connect via wireless, but only by entering the Wifi password using the printer "keyboard." After doing so, I could find and add the printer, then finally print.
