Hi,

I am experiencing a clog in the yellow well of my Canon G7020 even though I have been printing lots the past few days. Right now I am printing many flower photos for calendars I am making. There is still 1/2 a tank left of yellow so I know that is not the problem. I have done nozzle checks and the yellow is very weakly shown. I did 2 light cleanings and have just done a deep cleaning. The nozzle check for the yellow is going in the right direction. But I really don't want to do another. What should be my next step, a print head clean or an ink flush? I really don't want to fill up my waste pads needlessly.

Thank you.

Archiroo

Hi Archiroo,

The next step that you should take is to perform an ink flush:

1. Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your printer one time

2. Press the right arrow 4 times to select Maintenance and press OK

3. Press the right arrow 7 times to select Ink Flush and press OK

4. Press OK on All Colors

5. Press OK again

6. Use the left arrow to select Yes and press OK

7. Use the left arrow again to select Yes and press OK again

The ink flush will commence and will take about 8 minutes to complete.

Once finished, please print another test page:

1. Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your printer one time

2. Press the right arrow 4 times to select Maintenance and press OK

3. Press OK on Nozzle Check

A test page will print. Does yellow appear?
