    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;My Pixma 6821 uses the 270 / 271 series ink cartridges. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I have error code 1413. The cartridge is a NEW Canon wider black ink cartridge.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Is there another way to address this issue. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Cartridges are expensive to have bought &amp;amp; then not be able to use! &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;A tech at Best Buy, where I got it and went to get a new black 270 cartridge today&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;said "take a clean cloth and rub the contacts where the cartridge is inserted&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;as some dust or grit there may interefere with the connection." I tried this several&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;times but it still won't 'recognize' the new black 270 cartridge!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;contact me at &lt;FONT color="#FF0000"&gt;[Removed personal information per forum guidelines]&lt;/FONT&gt;, please.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
