Hi jerrydon,

If you replace the ink cartridges of your PIXMA TR4722 with brand new, genuine Canon ink cartridges, resetting is not necessary. If there is a low ink or out of ink message that appears, there may be an issue with the ink cartridge.

If you are refilling ink cartridges once empty, that is not supported by Canon. In this case, it is recommended the the company that manufacturers the refill kit is contacted for assistance with this issue.

I was hoping Canon had a solution for this. I have seen where Canon had a reset waste ink on some of their printers and was hoping this model had a similar feature. Thanks for your reply.
