Just bought Fuzion 271 ink cartridges for my Pixma Cannon TS702 printer.

When installed, getting error message "The ink tank cannot be recognized". Staples said these ink cartridges where compatible with my printer and they are even listed as an accessory item under the printer. Any idea what to do from here?

I cannot comment on what Staples said or sold you. Canon does not recommend using any 3rd party inks or toners in its printers.

The inks and accessory page for your product does not mention 3rd party inks:

View All Accessories (canon.com)

I'd take them back and hope you can get a refund if they do not work. Canon does not recommend or support 3rd party inks regardless of what Staples told you.
