PIXMA MG2522 Driver is Unavailable Error

I recently purchased a new laptop and now I am unable to add my printer. I am not very computer savvy and I have tried everything I can think of and am not getting anywhere. I am running Windows 11 Home in S Mode

I think you'll need to take the system out of S mode.

Start here:

Download the W11 drivers for your printer:

Run the installer. If it complains about security, you cannot run this app only MS approved apps, etc. You will need to take the computer out of "S" mode in order to install 3rd party software. Don't worry, you are not missing anything kicking S Mode to the curb.

Here are instructions to do that:

Switching out of S mode in Windows (microsoft.com)

After you complete the above, restart the machine and run the Canon MP Installer again.
