      <title>PIXMA G4210 won't connect to MacBook Pro via USB</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a continuing problems getting my Pixma G4210printer to print. When I try to print a document on my Macbook Pro, I get this on my dashboard:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="artjon108_0-1664379827595.png" style="width: 95px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/36400i4FDF9B1A6F8B0171/image-dimensions/95x80?v=v2" width="95" height="80" role="button" title="artjon108_0-1664379827595.png" alt="artjon108_0-1664379827595.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I check the printer, I get:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="artjon108_1-1664379945595.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/36401iEBFCC05A25F503B9/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="artjon108_1-1664379945595.png" alt="artjon108_1-1664379945595.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My printer is hardwired to my computer, and I have double-checked all the connections and restarted the printer several times, but I get the same notification each time. It refuses to print my work. This was a periodic problem, but now it seems to be permanent. Please help. I have to get my work out.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Please click on the Apple in the upper left corner and then System Preferences.&amp;nbsp; In that window, click on Printers &amp;amp; Scanners.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;How many Canon printers are listed on the left side?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Do any of the printers on the left have a green dot and "Idle" ?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
