When my computer comes out of sleep mode it tries to install pixma ip3000 printer driver again but fails. Then I get the "usb device attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it." When I try to use the printer it says the printer is offline and no matter what I do it won't come back on line unless I re-boot the compurter. Everything is fine until it goes to sleep then it starts all over again. Dell Precision T3600, Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Any help would be appreciated. - Thanks

I have 8 usb2 ports and one usb3. I can get it to work on the usb3 but none of the usb2 ports. Since this is an older printer you would think that it would work on usb2.
