Hey, thanks so much! I did finally find the Model number--MP480.
It must be pretty old as I don't see a USB port for printing directly from a flash drive.
Anyway, thanks again.
Best regards,
Patricia

I cannot find a Model # on my sister's old Pixma & there's nothing like it on Canon's website.
(It has the controls on the top on the right side; the newer models have them on the left.)
It needs a cord for a squarish little input, although it has the sign for USB by it.
It does not appear to have the standard USB port.
I don't know what go into the strange MS Duo & MS DS inputs.
It says it's b&w/color print-copy-scan but the empty space seems to call for one large cartridge--I don't know what type of cartridge I'd need.
I don't know how to use it.
Any advice appreciated!

A printer USB cable is different than a standard USB-A cable. You can get them on Amazon.

MS DUO is a kind of old memory card (MS-Memory Stick).

Look all around the device for some sort of label or information box. Sometimes they are molded into the case, so they are difficult to see.
