topic TR4520 printer only showing up FAX in Desktop Inkjet Printers

When I use a USB cable to print, and when I needed to print out some homework, it reported back as an error. So I tried unplugging it both from my Windows laptop and the wall both did not work, so I choose to forget the device both as a printer and FAX to see if that would work, and now when I go to look for the printer when I plug in the USB the only thing that appears is the FAX option. I can get the regular printer option to work.

To clarify, it is like the printer feature of my printer does not exist on my laptop, only the fax feature.

A couple of options I can think of: 1. Reinstall printer software with USB plugged in. 2. If you have Windows, go into Device Manager > Update Hardware.

In case further troubleshooting is needed, what is your OS?

Also, any particular apps you're trying to print from, like Word, Excel, etc.?
