      <title>MX492 lost "open scanner" dialog box</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm using a MacBook Pro running OS Monterey 12.5.1. When I open System Preferences / Printers &amp;amp; Scanners I can see my MX 492 listed under "Printers." There was always a dialog box under the printer name that said "Open Scanner." This box is no longer there. I think I have the most current driver (16.40.1.0). But nothing else has changed. Grateful for any thoughts on this. Thank you.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Has the scanner driver for your PIXMA MX492 been installed?&amp;nbsp; Please click this link:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-mx490---mx492" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-mx490---mx492&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once that page loads, please click "Software &amp;amp; Drivers".&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In the list that appears, please click the Download button to the right of "&lt;STRONG&gt;ICA Driver Ver. 5.0.0 (Mac)&lt;/STRONG&gt;".&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When that download is complete, please open/run "&lt;STRONG&gt;misd-mac-ijscanner15s-5_0_0-ea21_3.dmg&lt;/STRONG&gt;" to install the scanner driver.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can then also install the IJ Scan Utiltiy2 and use that application to scan with your PIXMA MX492.&lt;/P&gt;
