&lt;P&gt;If that does not resolve the issue, the printer has experienced an internal hardware issue and would need to be replaced.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You would qualify for the Canon Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>PIXMA MX439 Printer Head Alignment</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When I print, a get a vertical line through the middle of the text that does not print correctly. When I run the print head alignment feature on my Cannon MX439 printer, the process begins but stops about a forth of the way through and the printer beeps. Since the process does not complete, it is impossible to do the scan part of the procedure. Any thoughts?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
