    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Mamabones,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The MP Navigator EX can be used to scan with your PIXMA MG3120.&amp;nbsp; To scan using the MP Navigator EX, please follow these steps:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;1.&amp;nbsp; From the Windows Start screen, please click the MP Navigator EX tile.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;2.&amp;nbsp; Place your item to be scanned face down on the scanner.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;3.&amp;nbsp; Click Photos/Documents (Platen).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;4.&amp;nbsp; Select Document Type according to the document to be scanned.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;5.&amp;nbsp; Click Specify... to set the document size and scanning resolution as required.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;6.&amp;nbsp; Click the green Scan button.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;7.&amp;nbsp; When scanning is completed, the Scan Complete dialog box opens. Select Scan or Exit. Select Scan to scan the next document, or select Exit to end.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;8.&amp;nbsp; Once scanning is complete, click the Save button.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;9.&amp;nbsp; In the Save dialog box, give the image a descriptive file name.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;10.&amp;nbsp; In the Save as type drop down box, choose JPEG/Exif.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;11.&amp;nbsp; Click the Save button.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The image will be saved as a JPEG in the location that was specified.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you continue to have difficulties, please contact our support group using the following link:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A target="_blank" href="http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/contact_us_consumer"&gt;http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/contact_us_consumer&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
