Hi MaryBethC,

Poor printing can be caused when the encoder/timing strip inside your PIXMA MG3620 is smudged. Cleaning this will resolve the issue.

To clean the encoder/timing strip, please follow the steps in this Knowledgebase Article:

https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART164472

I am having issues. I keep getting error messages when I try to align the print heads. I have issues printing the alignment sheet, or if I do get the alignment sheet to print, then it won't scan once I press the start button. Please help. I hate to buy another printer.

Background-I changed ink cartridges, and the problems started. So I changed out the ink cartridges again with brand new ones. The printing is a little better, but the print heads are still out of alignment... I think that's why my pages look horrible.

All help will be appreciated!

Thank you
