I have completed the service (cleaning the excess ink from the absorption pads). Now I need to do the reset.

There is no way I'd pay to have this serviced by Canon. And after all this trouble, an "upgrade" for me would be to buy from a different manufacturer.

Hello all --

I have not had any success resetting my MG2220 using the various schemes on the internet. I'm hoping this community will bear fruit.

Thanks in advance for your help. Otherwise, I will soon be using another manufacturer's printer.
