Pixma MG2420 quick menu does not work

i have used it for years with mo problem i tried to scan something toady and the quick menu would not load I am using windows pc have uninstalled and reinnstalled a t lest 3 times hoping . Have unplugged both USB from back of tower and the computer moved to a different port on the computer and again nothing I have no idea what to do

Hi,

Please open the Canon scanning program IJ Scan Utility and try to scan from there. Please let us know if you are able to scan or if it crashes/error appears.

i use that yes that works but why does quick menu not work anymore
