topic Pixma MG3620 - how to stop Windows startup warning that the printer isn't on in Desktop Inkjet Printers

I don't use my printer every day, so I keep it off unless I need it.

Every single time I start my computer, I get a pop-up warning that I haven't turned the printer on. I've dug through every printer menu I can find, including the startup programs (apps) section of Windows, and I can't find a way to turn this off. It's super irritating as it interrupts everything else I am trying to do on startup of my system.

Also, if you know a way to start my powered-off printer from my computer keyboard, that would also be helpful, as the printer can't be reached from my workstation - I must walk to it to turn it on manually, which is just lost time on those few days that I need to print something.

Thanks for any help.
