Hi schic817,

To reset your PIXMA MX490, please follow these steps:

1. Turn your PIXMA MX490 on.

2. Press the wrench and screwdriver button one time.

3. Use the right arrow to select Device settings and press OK.

4. Use the right arrow to select Reset setting and press OK.

5. Use the right arrow to select All data and press OK.
