    <description>&lt;P&gt;After wasting much time, effort and paper while blaming Canon for my prints coming out in wide bars instead of smooth image, I finally turned my attention to the ink cartridges.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Even though ink levels were all satisfactory, and I did several nozzle cleanings, etc. the ultimate source of my problem was that the cartridges were not dispensing ink evenly. Apparently, after being unused for a few weeks, this problem occurs when the ink cartridges get "constipated" Not a technical term, but you get the picture.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sorry Canon that I misdirected my frustration at your printer!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I wish this solution was quicker and easier to find.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
