From what I have found it seems Cannon forced some sort of update to the printers and now they are ALL stuck in reboot loop. If you turn off your wifi and power up the printer it will be able to print via a USB cable, however, you MUST (while the wifi is off) go to the settings in the printer and disable the wifi. Until Cannon fixes it I am afraid this will be the only way to print. Good luck trying to get Cannon on the phone to help. Their customer support is basically non-existent. I can't even log on with my account. I keep getting an error and customer support could offer me nothing in the way of helping with that. So I took to the internet and found this:

https://www.theverge.com/2022/6/1/23150498/canon-pixma-printer-reboot-loop-mx492-solution

I hope this helps...

Hello. I have unplugged and plugged my mx492 many times. I have connected it with a usb to my computer to try to fix the problem. It is turning on and off automatically and it will not allow me to do anything. I tried troubleshooting and diagnosis and repair. Could someone please direct me on what to do. Thank you.
