Hello, I just purchased the G7020. I know it probably quite easy, but can anyone tell me how to set the auto on feature when info is sent to the printer? Thank you!

I am having the same issue with my G6020 and just posted a question. I hope they give us an update soon as this is a major flaw in the new model.

Yes, your instructions really helped to show me how to automatically turn on my G6020 printer (from the eco settings) when it is off and I need to print from another room. However, there is no "Accept" button to click, or I can't find it on the website. I wish this info was easier to locate in the online instruction manual or the paper instructions in the box. Thank you for you help!!

You can also set this from the IJ Printer Assistant Tool (you should be able to download this from the Canon website)
