I have an old MP530 printer that works great after all these years but every few years I'll get the&nbsp;<SPAN>Error Code 6A00that&nbsp; apparently means that&nbsp;</SPAN>the "auto-purge" unit is not operating correctly.</P><P>I usually clean these little... ink pads? and the error goes away. A few days ago one of the pads fell inside the printer and I can't get it out. I'm trying to purchase a replacement, maybe on ebay or else where but I don't know what they are called. Is there a product name or part number maybe?</P><P>I contacted Canon Support and they told me to buy a new printer. I can't afford that at the moment and was looking for another option.
