tr 4720 selection for IJ Network Scanner Selector EX

Had a canon MX922 and was using the IJ Scanner Selector EX software to scan from control panel. Replaced printer/scanner with TR4720 so do I need to download a different IJ Scanner selector EX in order to be able to select the TR 4720? When I pull up the IJ Scanner selector I only see the choice of the old MX922. Plus, will the TR 4720 scan as a PDF as I DO NOT have that option pop up on the control panel LCD.

Hi pmills,

First, please open the IJ Scan Utility on your computer and attempt to scan. If you are capable of scanning using the IJ Scan Utility, then we know that your PIXMA TR4720 has been installed correctly and is communicating with your computer.

Use IJ Scan Utility (Mac)

If you are able to scan using the IJ Scan Utility, follow the steps on this page to scan from the operator's panel of your PIXMA TR4720:
