Printer prints faded/lined pages

Hello,

I have noticed the printer has been printing faded pages for only certain documents, especially those with confidential information. I tried to print the same without confidential info and it works just fine. How do I fix this?

Hi kl141,

First, please perform a test of your printer. To do this, please follow these steps:

1. Please press the MENU button on your PIXMA MX922

2. Use the down arrow key until the wrench and screwdriver icon is selected, then press OK

3. On Maintenance, press the OK button

4. Select Print nozzle check pattern and then press OK

S. Select Yes and then press the OK button

A test page will print. Please compare your printout with the example below.

Does your nozzle check print correctly?

If not, please make sure that each ink tank contains ink.

Next, please perform a few printhead cleanings:

1. Please press the MENU button on your PIXMA MX922

2. Use the down arrow key until the wrench and screwdriver icon is selected, then press OK
