      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Jerry S1,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The installation CD that came with the printer will not work with the Windows 8 operating system, and there are not updated drivers for the printer; as such, we are unable to guarantee that the scanning function of the printer will work with Windows 8.&amp;nbsp; Please call or email us at one of the methods on the &lt;A target="_blank" href="http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/contact_us_consumer"&gt;Contact Us&lt;/A&gt; page for other options we have available for you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
