Why would you download Canon software from a 3rd party site which could potentially be laiden with malware?

G2010 series Full Driver & Software Package (Windows) (asia.canon)

I have tried to install it from my CD and also I have downloaded the driver from the official website but I am getting an installation failed error in 3rd step and I am unable to install the driver for my Canon Pixma G2010. Please somebody help me as soon as possible. thank you

at my process of installing my canon printer this is what display on "failed to acquire information on the driver and software.
