    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi 2777FrankM,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The PIXMA MP240 is not supported with macOS v12 Monterey.&amp;nbsp; The last version of OSX that was supported was OSX v10.9 Mavericks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;my&amp;nbsp;Pixma MP240 gives message 'failed to open a connection to the device (-21345) when attempting to scan. This printer/scanner has worked well for many years, but will not scan (still prints fine) now that I have upgraded to a new mac running Monterey 12.0.1. This printer/scanner is NOT wifi equipped, I just use a USB cable.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas on a fix?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
