    <description>&lt;P&gt;I found a solution that enables me to scan without "scanner not connected" error message.&amp;nbsp; I connected the MX860 directly to my router with an Ethernet cable and re-installed it as a wired LAN device with Win 8.1 drivers.&amp;nbsp; I do not think it is possible to scan with it reliably on a Windows 10 PC if installed with a wireless LAN connection.&amp;nbsp; Print, YES; scan, NO.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I upgraded to Windows 8.1 yesterday.&amp;nbsp; I can't scan now.&amp;nbsp; "An error has occurred in the scanner driver.&amp;nbsp; Abort scanning."&amp;nbsp; I installed latest drivers and continue to get this error.&amp;nbsp; I am connecting wirelessly.&amp;nbsp; What do I need to do?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
