I have a Pro-100 connected by USB to one computer and Wi-Fi connected to two other printers w/o problem, so I would say in general wireless and USB don't interfere.

I have a MX472 connected by Wi-Fi to three computers (no USB connection). I use Canon IJ Scan Utility to scan w/o problem. What scanning software are you using? I am assuming it worked OK before the new HD?

I recently installed a new hard drive in my PC and had to reinstall my canon mx472 printer. The copier prints ok, but won't scan. I get a scanner is turned off, usb cable is disconnected, Code 5, 156, 69. I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer per the instructions but still have the issue. Can a wireless printer interfere with a USB direct plug in printer? How can I check?

I hadn't tried both printers on the same PC before the hard drive replacement; my husband just bought the new printer. I rebooted and that appears to have fixed the scanner for now. thanks anyway!
