      <title>Scanner Software Not Included with Driver Download</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just finished migrating to a new desktop. In the past I have used the CD that came with my PIXMA MX492 Printer/Scanner and it has always worked just find. Unfortunately, my new desktop does not have a CD/DVD drive, so I went to the Canon website to download the software. The printer software downloaded just fine and it prints just fine, but the Canon IJ Scan Utility is missing.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Screenshot 2022-02-11 122839.jpg" style="width: 783px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/32455iF0E3EF5178B29AF5/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="Screenshot 2022-02-11 122839.jpg" alt="Screenshot 2022-02-11 122839.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I downloaded the &lt;SPAN&gt;MX490 series Full Driver &amp;amp; Software Package (Windows) from&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/mx-series-inkjet/mx492/pixma-mx492?subtab=downloads-drivers" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/inkjet-multifunction/mx-series-inkjet/mx492/pixma-mx492?subtab=downloads-drivers&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
