Plugged in, power on, will not print, scan or start.

MP560 printer, scanner will not come on at all.

Which is it? Powers on and won't print or scan or won't power on at all?

Its nearly 13 years old. An electrical failure is certainly possible.

If the cord isn't damaged, you can try at a different plug or room. If it's not coming on, the power supply or other internal component may have failed or is faulty.
