topic TR8520 printer. in Desktop Inkjet Printers

Yellow ink cartridge was getting low so I replaced it with a new one. The estimated ink levels that show the ink remaining is still showing the previous cartridge's amount not the new amount in the new cartridge. I have taken the cartridge out, checked it and put it back in. I have rebooted the printer and it still shows the previous cartridge's reading. Help please. I have a lot of colored printing to do. Thank you.
