topic TR4520 scan-to-pdf creates a separate page for each page scanned in Desktop Inkjet Printers

I'm scanning a document with multiple pages. front and back, using the IJ Scan Utility. The document is one that I've scanned several times recently, and the pdf was put into a single file. Now each page is put into a separate file. I recently got help from a Canon support chat agent for a 2110 error with the same document described here. Note that this current issue was not occuring immediately after impementing the chat agent's fixes. To my knowledge I haven't made any changes to the document or the settings specified in the Utility. I hope I can get this current issue resolved without having to go back to chat support. Not that it was a difficult or anything but a positive experience. The agent was great. It's just that it takes several steps to get the chat started.

TIA for your help.
pwrichcreek
