canon mx922 scanner has the wrong mac address. printer/fax have correct one. how do you correct?

Canon IJ Network Scanner Selector shows a scanner with wrong mac address. Canon IJ Network Tool shows correct mac for printer and fax. this is windows7 64bit machine. The printer properties ports tab has both correct and incorrect mac addresses but you can't delete the wrong one.
