how do i scan pdf doc from system

Hello -

i am new to the forum -required your help about the scanner....I work for one of the corporate company

we use the Canon printer which has got multiple functionalities like scanning ,faxing and xerox and printer too.

Where our compny involved with a lots of papers for scanning it leading to wastage of papers for scanning.

My question that how do i scan pdf document from computer

with out inserting the hardcopy paper into scanner .Please let us know is it possible to do so.

if so please let us know the procedure to follow or required upgradation to the scanner.

if not possible can it be devoloped in future which helps for many companies with the tons of paper in order to scan.
