how to setup department id.management printing on a canon irc advance 3325i

I'm having trouble setting up department printing on a canon irc adv 3325i. I have used the setup.exe file and have gone through the following steps:

1. Selected the setup.exe file

2.Agreed with the license agreement (yes)

3.Selected the standard setup

4.Selected the printer

5.Checked the set printer information check box

6.Created a new port

7.Selected start installing driver

8.Restarted system

9.Logged onto printer and checked "enable department I.D management"

And the printer GUI is still not switching to the interface that prompts you to use your department I.D and Password. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
