      <description>&lt;P&gt;With my MP250 printer, when I&amp;nbsp; try to print now shows in a box on my PC the message "&amp;nbsp;Cannot communicate with the printer.&lt;BR /&gt;Turn Enable bi-directional support on in the printer's Properties dialog box."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Looking at my Canon desktop app there appears to be no&amp;nbsp; 'dialog box'.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This worked like a charm for me:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Select Start &amp;gt; Control Panel &amp;gt; Devices and Printers.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Right-click your printer name, then select Printer properties.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Select the Ports tab.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Select the Enable bidirectional support check box.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Click OK.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;</description>
