PIXMA TS3122 not compatible with Windows 7 64 bit?

The box the printer comes in reads that it is compatible. After I bought it and brought it home the CD will not play and there is a dialog box that comes up saying that it is not compatible with my software.

Please help

Your PIXMA TS3122 is fully compatible with the 64 bit version of Windows 7. Please try installing the drivers from Canon's web site. To do this, please follow these steps:

1. Access the Support Page for your PIXMA TS3122 by using the following link:

https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-ts3122

2. Click the Select button next to "TS3100 series MP Drivers Ver.1.00 (Windows)".

3. Click the Download button.

4. Click Open or Run once the download is complete.

Follow the on-screen prompts to install your PIXMA TS3122 on your computer.
