    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a MG2160 printer and recently had a windows update.&amp;nbsp; Now I get the following message when trying to print"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cannot communicate with the printer. Turn Enable bi-directional support on in the printer's Properties dialog box".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone know how to resolve this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try the following to see if we can resolve your issue:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Open the Control Panel.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Open Devices and Printers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Right-click the Printer icon and choose "Printer Properties".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4.&amp;nbsp; Click the Ports tab.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5.&amp;nbsp; Check the box to enable bi-directional printing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;6.&amp;nbsp; Click Apply/OK.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Once this has been done try printing to test the unit.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This didn't answer your question or issue?
