I bought a new canon MG3040 printer and when I run the set up in my windows 7 32 bit, it says “this program is not compatible with the current operating system”. What should I do? Help pls.

Try visiting the driver download page. There should be different versions for the 64bit and 32bit operating systems. There's a good chance that 64bit is shipped on the CD based on it being more popular these days.

This model is not available in the US, so the drivers would need to be instaled from the Canon Europe website HERE.
