      <title>Help with Cannon Pixma mg3122</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Ok so I just brought this printer and its not working. I bought it in the united states and took it to&amp;nbsp; Jamaica. Stupid me I did not check to make sure its working before I took it to Jamaica.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It wont initialize and even after the driver installs it keeps saying cannot find printer or printer not connected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyway I notice that nothing happens when The colored ink is in and when the colored ink is out it starts to initialize but does not complete. Also the ink tray cover never opens by itself but I have to physically open it my self by pushing the ink tray all the way to my right.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Questions:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) is it possible that a bad ink can cause the printer to not initialize and set up properly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) Shouldn't it still initialize and set up even without the inks installed or with only the black ink installed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I ask these questions because I don't want to buy the ink then realize that the ink doesn't make a difference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The warranty doesn't mattter because I am all the way in Jamaica and it will cost more that the cost of the printer for me to send it back.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
