    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi jermil,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In order to bettr assist you, allow me to ask a couple questions:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Which program are you printing from?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Do you get the same effect when printing from other programs?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;What is written on the ink cartridge, from top to beottom?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;I look forward to your reply.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Message when trying to print with Black only on MX452</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have changed cartridges many times and never had this problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have the printer set to print in Black only.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But every time I go to print, I get a box that says: "Only the following ink will be used for Printing...Black". I then have to press OK every single time. Then it works fine, printing only in black.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How do I get rid of this box and extra step?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Jermil, have you tried setting that as the default? That might solve the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if it doesn't, the preferences for your printer are most likely corrupted. I'd locate the prefs file and delete it, then try setting "black and white only" as the default.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;good luck!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Your quick response lead me to a solution.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In "printer properties" (W10),I set the ink to "Both Color and Black".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the W10 print dialog, tho, I set it the "color" to "Black and White".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That did it. It now prints directly with no dialog box.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If these didn't work, I like your idea aobut deleting the pinter prefs file.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks so much.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
