    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi CNelson,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Support code 5100 normally indicates that the print carriage is not moving properly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="stc"&gt;Cancel printing and turn off the &lt;SPAN class="other_ui"&gt;machine&lt;/SPAN&gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="stc"&gt;Check the following:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="stc"&gt;Make sure &lt;SPAN class="other_ui"&gt;print head holder&lt;/SPAN&gt; motion is not impeded by stabilizer, jammed paper, etc.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="stc"&gt;Remove any impediment.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="stc"&gt;Make sure the ink tanks are properly installed.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="stc"&gt;Press ink tanks until they click into place.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="stc"&gt;Turn the &lt;SPAN class="other_ui"&gt;machine&lt;/SPAN&gt; back on.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This didn't answer your question or issue?       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a Canon Pixma MG6800 series printer that was jammed with paper which I have removed as far as I can see when I open it up in all the ways it is possible to do so but it keeps flashing support code 5100 - can anyone help me reset it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Many thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Camilla&lt;/P&gt;</description>
