MG8150 wont´t print on photo paper

I have installed a special ICC profile for the correct combination of my MG8150 and the paper I will use (ILFORD Gallerie Smooth Pearl) and selected this ICC as the printer profile. Despite that the printer does not recognise the paper and it just rolles through. When I load the photo paper on the wrong side, the printer prints the image (on the wrong side), so I conclude that it is not the size the printer has a problem with. It does not print any other photo paper (like Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy) either. The printer prints only on standard paper. I have tried all types of photo papers you can choose from the drop down menu, nothing works. I have also updated the printer driver. NOthing helps. Pls help 🙂

Hi Csilla,

In order to better assist you, allow me to ask a couple questions:

Which program are you printing from?
Are you able to print from another program, like Easy-PhotoPrint?
Which version of Windows or Macintosh are you using?
