Hi pattis,

In order to better assist you, allow me to ask a couple questions:

What size and type of paper is loaded in the lower cassette?
What size and type is being requested from the computer?
Are you able to make a photocopy from the lower cassette?

I only used letter-sized paper in it, but I just changed back to an old HP printer that I hadn't thrown away. I haven't used a printer for months. The HP never had this type of problem, and I contacted you months ago. I don't understand why this was a problem for the Canon. So far, the HP is working fine. I think I was hoping that I could scan with the Canon, but scanning was hard even with the Canon. I have to go to the UPS store every time I have to scan. I'm used to it now.
