Change PC name on scanner-destination

I would like to delete my personal name from the scan destination on the scanner.

What it currently shows is "emily POTATOMI", where POTATOMI is the PC name. However, I can't figure out how to change or delete the "emily" from the name.

The printer-scanner I'm using is a MG5500, but I suspect this is a computer issue, not a printer. Any idea how to change it?

Hi EmilyEvelan,

If you are using Windows, open the Windows Start Menu.

Search for "Computer," This Computer," or "This PC" depending on which version of Windows you have.
Right-click the root drive (usually C:)
Select "Properties."
Select "Security."
Click "Edit."
You can then add, remove, or change the name of the local printer.
Press OK.
