    <description>&lt;P&gt;Maybe this is it:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. last but not least, a manual head alignment made again? Still no improvement?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then you must assume that there is a defective electrolytic capacitor (capacitor) on the main board of the printer. This "manages" the electrical voltage that goes through the print head. Whereby the colored area (in your case BK + C + M + Y) and the PGBK head area are controlled separately. In any case, this capacitor no longer maintains the voltage correctly, causing these shifts in the vertical nozzle rows. This is basically a damage in the cent range, but very labor-intensive (printer would have to be disassembled, electrolytic capacitors would have to be measured and discharged, new ones would have to be soldered, and then everything would have to be reassembled) and is - basically - only to be done by a specialist... In this respect, an economic total loss remains.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;@Message 23&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My print heat is quite new&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At least for a mg6350/MG6450 that does not work:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;have same problem and the print head is not it. have 3 heads that go in other printers!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;or&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and i have tried print head replacement which works in other did not solve the problem!!!! i'm afraid cannon is a bad company. why isn't there an answer????????????????? they sure know what the problem is.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My MX922 printer continues to print &lt;SPAN class="lia-search-match-lithium"&gt;double&lt;/SPAN&gt; &lt;SPAN class="lia-search-match-lithium"&gt;lines&lt;/SPAN&gt; in the PGBK nozzle check pattern even after a manual alignment.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same issues with my MG5550. The nozzle check patter looks exactly the same. Have had the printhead out for cleaning. Done deep cleaning several times.&amp;nbsp; my firmware update is 3.090.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here you can see that it's not allways it prints double characters.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/14615i696F50E92C939FF5/image-size/original?v=1.0&amp;amp;px=-1" alt="Untitle.jpg" title="Untitle.jpg" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have an MX892, and recently got a B200 code on my printer.&amp;nbsp; I cleaned the print head of all inks and reinserted it with new cartridges.&amp;nbsp; I did a scan copy and had a good copy.&amp;nbsp; I then tried to print a document and got a double print, I also tried to print directly from a webpage withthe same results.&amp;nbsp; I have done deep cleans, clean the encoder film with no changes.&amp;nbsp; Photos come out with&amp;nbsp; red streaks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/15315iB35445AAC602E49C/image-size/small?v=1.0&amp;amp;px=-1" border="0" alt="double print.jpg" title="double print.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My MX922 started doing this about 1 month out of the warranty.&amp;nbsp; It would be interesting to hear from others how long they had used their printer before this problem showed up.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am an electrical engineer who used to work for a very large printer company and I have never seen this kind of issue before.&amp;nbsp; It is hard for me to figure out why it can print one line just fine and the next few all messed up.&amp;nbsp; If it were a mechanical problem such as the timeing belt, it would do the same thing on every line.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It prints pictures just fine which in my mind, rules out a mechanical issue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This has to be some sort of electronic or software issue.&amp;nbsp; If that is the case then Cannon could issue a patch or new software and fix the issue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I live way out in the country so taking the printer to the dump is much easier than taking it to some sort of service center.&amp;nbsp; I will go to the nearest sales outlet next week and show them the problem.&amp;nbsp; If they have no solution then taking it to the dump is the answer.&amp;nbsp; I will not purchase another Cannon printer due to poor support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Report it to Cannon as they seem to think they have solved the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I found sort of a work around.&amp;nbsp; If you are sending the text from a word processor that allows you to change the color from black to another color, it prints okay.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;There are more threads than just this describing basically the same issue.&amp;nbsp; This work around from another user (posted over a year ago) works, which might help tech support solve the "mystery".&amp;nbsp; It's pretty obvious this is a flaw of some kind...more transparency would be appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;"HERE'S A WORK-AROUND:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Check your printer's paper settings. Switch setting to Photo Paper (even if you're using plain paper) , select MATTE Photo paper, save the settings. Now try printing again. In my case, my blurry print became razor-sharp with this setting on my Canon MG7520. You're using more ink, but worth it if your printing an important document or shipping label."&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The matte photo paper solution does work on my MG5500 - and lovely and black - but prints &lt;EM&gt;oh so slow&lt;/EM&gt;.&amp;nbsp; Great for photos obviously, but way too slow for multiple page text documents.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Sure it does, but the real issue is not solved (and probably never will be). I think Canon does not bother solving the problem on these relatively low cost printers. My problem was solved in the end by buying an Epson. Happy now Canon?</description>
