Hello.

The MG3050 is not sold here in the United States so we are not entirely familiar with it. However, if it is comparable to the PIXMA MG3020 that is sold here, the printer would not be AirPrint compatible. To print documents, web pages or emails, you will have to use a standard Windows or Mac OSX computer.

To print via AirPrint, a printer in our MG3500 series and above would be needed.

This didn't answer your question or issue?

I have a new canon MG3050, which I've set up on my iPad. It prints docs no problem, but when I try to print a photo, it seems to be printing on the app, but nothing other than a flashing light happens on my printer!
