Pixma TS6051 Print from phone

I am currently having issues with my new Pixma TS6051. My phone and printer are communicating together however, when I send a photo to print from my app to my printer, it will pull in the paper and then I have to wait about 15mins before any printing occurs. Surely this can't be right ?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi PV745,

Slow printing may indicate an issue with the network connection, so let's start there. You can print out the network settings by following the steps HERE

Much of the information will not be relevant, but the important things to look at are:

Is the connection active or inactive?
Does the SSID (network name) match the one the computer uses?
What is the signal strength?
What is the IPv4 IP address?
