https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Desktop-Inkjet-Printers/Canon-MX870-won-t-scan/m-p/212345#M48700 <P>Hi I switched computers recently so didn't have the utility for scanning loaded. &nbsp;I downloaded the MP Navigator EX 3.1 software and installed it but when I try to scan, I receive an error Cannot communicate with scanner, indicating that the problem could be that the scanner is turned off, with an error code: 2,145,50 &nbsp;The MX870 is connected through USB and I'm able to print regular documents, off the web etc. &nbsp;Does anyone know what could be wrong?
